SPICY BEEF ADOBO

GOOF FOR 4 PERSONS.

INGREDIENTS:

  • SLICED BEEF – 1kg.
  • GARLIC – 8 cloves
  • PINEAPPLE JUICE – 750ml.
  • JUICE OF A LEMON – 1 PC.
  • BAY LEAVES – 4 PCs.
  • GROUND PEPPER – ½ tsp.
  • OYSTER SAUCE – 5 tbsp.
  • EXTRAVIRGIN OLIVE OIL – 2 tbsp.
  • CHILI PASTE – ½ tsp.
  • WATER – 250ml.

PROCEDURE:

Heat the olive oil in a medium sized pot. Saute the garlic until golden brown. Add the sliced beef, the pineapple juice, the oyster sauce, the ground pepper, the lemon juice, the water and simmer. After 30min add the bay leaves and simmer again until beef is tender. Five minutes before serving, and once sauce has thicken, add the chili paste and serve.

    Hi Peachy and Davide! I tried this today, its really good. I simmered it longer to make the sauce thicker. I told my mom about and she said its a good idea and she will try it herself.
